Depending on how you interact with FV, we may collect:

Contact information

Project and property information

When you inquire about or engage FV’s services, we may collect property addresses, building information, utility information, photographs, plans, equipment information, project correspondence, and other information needed to evaluate or support a project.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the requested services.

Contract and invoice information

We may collect your name, organization, email address, contract acceptance, electronic signature, invoice details, payment status, and related transaction records.

Purchase information

When you purchase a digital guide, physical product, merchandise, or another item from our website, we may collect your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, product selections, order details, and purchase history.

Payment information

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. FV does not receive or store your complete credit-card number or security code. Our payment processors receive and process payment information according to their own privacy policies.

Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects and processes visitor information to host the website, provide website functionality, secure its platform, and provide analytics and commerce services.

Squarespace may receive browser, device, network, IP address, website-activity, account, order, form-submission, invoice, and transaction information.

4. Contracts and Invoices

When you receive or accept a contract or invoice through our website, we collect the information necessary to document the agreement, provide the requested services, communicate with you, and maintain payment and business records.

We share the information needed to provide these functions with Squarespace and the payment providers supporting the transaction.

5. Payments

When you make a payment through our website, we use Squarespace Payments as our payment solution. Squarespace Payments uses third-party service providers that receive and process personal information, including:

FV generally receives transaction information such as the customer’s name, email address, billing information, amount paid, payment status, and limited payment-method details. FV does not receive or store complete payment-card credentials.

If FV offers another payment option, such as Square or PayPal, that provider will process information according to its own privacy policy.

6. Purchases, Digital Products, and Merchandise

When you purchase a product, we use your order information to process the transaction, provide access to digital content, ship physical products, respond to customer-service requests, and maintain transaction records.

For physical products, we may share your name, shipping address, contact information, and order details with the company responsible for producing, packaging, or delivering the order.

Before FV begins using a print-on-demand or merchandise-fulfillment provider, this Privacy Policy will be updated to identify that provider.

Digital products may be delivered through Squarespace or another digital-delivery provider identified at checkout. Purchase does not authorize redistribution, resale, or public sharing of protected digital content.

7. Forms and Project Submissions

When you submit a contact, intake, or project-information form, we collect the information entered in the form and any files you upload.

We use this information to respond to the submission, evaluate or perform services, and manage our relationship with you. Form information may be stored through Squarespace and Google Workspace.

Do not use general website forms to send Social Security numbers, bank-account credentials, health information, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

8. Google Workspace

FV uses Google Workspace for business email, file storage, document collaboration, calendars, and other business operations. Information you provide may be stored or processed through Google Workspace when necessary to communicate with you or perform services.

9. Email Communications

FV may send operational emails concerning inquiries, projects, contracts, invoices, purchases, delivery, account activity, or other requested services. These communications are necessary to provide the requested service and may not include an unsubscribe option.

FV may also send newsletters or promotional emails when you have subscribed or otherwise consented to receive them. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link included in the message or by contacting us at verde@verdefam.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not prevent FV from sending necessary project, transaction, contract, or account communications.

10. How We Share Information

FV does not sell or rent personal information.

We share personal information only when reasonably necessary with:

  • Squarespace and its website, commerce, invoicing, analytics, and security providers

  • Payment processors and fraud-prevention providers

  • Google Workspace

  • Shipping and merchandise-fulfillment providers

  • Contractors, consultants, engineers, manufacturers, utilities, lenders, incentive administrators, and other project participants when authorized or reasonably necessary for the project

  • Accountants, attorneys, insurers, and other professional advisors

  • Government agencies or law-enforcement authorities when disclosure is legally required

  • A successor organization in connection with a merger, reorganization, or transfer of FV’s business

FV requires service providers and project participants to receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role.

11. Sale, Targeted Advertising, and Profiling

FV does not sell personal information.

FV does not use personal information for targeted advertising or automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

If FV adopts advertising technologies or begins using personal information for one of these purposes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required choices before beginning that use.

12. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Necessary cookies allow Squarespace to securely operate the website and provide essential features such as forms, customer accounts, shopping carts, and checkout.

Analytics and performance cookies help FV understand website traffic and how visitors use the website. Where FV’s cookie settings require consent, these cookies are activated only after the visitor accepts them through the cookie banner.

Visitors can use the cookie banner or cookie-preference controls displayed on the website to manage nonessential cookies. Visitors can also restrict cookies through their browser settings, although doing so may prevent some website features from working correctly.

FV does not currently use Meta Pixel, Google Ads, or other third-party behavioral-advertising trackers. If those services are added, this Privacy Policy and the website’s cookie disclosures will be updated.

FV retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Maintain project and transaction records

  • Meet tax, accounting, insurance, warranty, and legal requirements

FV does not sell personal information or currently use it for targeted advertising or automated profiling.

To make a privacy request, email verde@verdefam.com with the subject line Privacy Request. Describe the request and provide enough information for FV to reasonably verify your identity and locate the relevant records.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf when permitted by law. FV may request evidence of the agent’s authority and may need to verify your identity directly.

If FV denies a request and applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to FV’s response with the subject line Privacy Appeal.

FV will respond within the period required by applicable law.

16. Children’s Privacy

This website and FV’s services are not directed to children under 13. FV does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to FV, contact verde@verdefam.com so we can investigate and delete the information when appropriate.

This website may contain links to external websites or embedded content operated by manufacturers, project partners, social-media platforms, mapping services, video providers, or other third parties.

FV may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The date at the top of the policy indicates when it was most recently updated.
